S-video: does the SNES compact style 2 model accomadate?
Hi. Just getting ready to pick up a replacement SNES because I traded my old one for something I really wanted. What I would like to ask is do the "new style" SNES preform s-video like the regular SNES? I would want one of the new style but I'll reconsider if it doesn't include that feature.

To answer your question. No the SNES Jr. doesn't support S-Video. Just Composite.

Guy I'm considering buying a SNES S-video cable says they do work with "new style".
I got a "new" second opinion though. Seller is mistaken it appears.
And I guess S-cart is PAL only.
US Model 2 SNES does NOT support S-video. There are sellers on ebay that insist THEIR cable will make it work, they're wrong.
PAL systems, couldn't tell ya.
