Default My Odyssey (1) score on eBay

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEBWN:IT

    Thoughts?

Not bad, I think. I figured the price was pretty reasonable. Wish I coulda got the boxes, but maybe I'll find them eventually. If you see anything I'mmissing that youhave extras of, lemme know. Maybe we can work something out. :-)

Now, this just takes a standard rf switch, right? Being the first system and all, I figured I should probabaly ask!

Not too shabby. The seller's wrong about replacing the RF switch with a standard Radio Shack model though - you'll need to use an Odyssey 2 RF switch or the RF switch from one of the "minor" Odyssey consoles (Odyssey 100, 200, 2000, 3000, etc.); if need be, grab one of those consoles cheap just for the RF box. Those consoles' AC adapters will also come in handy for an original Odyssey.

I'm dubious about the "all games" claim too - this appears to have the pack-in stuff as far as the circuit cards and overlays go, but it's missing a wealth of the ancillary stuff - dice, poker chips, etc. etc.; all of this came in one box, by the way. There's also a hard-shell travel case that was made that you could keep an eye out for, but be prepared to put up a fight. I've given up on finding the travel case, if that tells you anything.

For display purposes though, not a bad lot. Perhaps a bit steep given what's missing, but it's a curious piece of video game history that plays and looks like absolutely nothing that has come after it.

At PhillyClassic they bid a boxed Odyssey system with a boxed rifle. Starting bid was $100. Only one person bid and he got everything. Then after the bidding they put the box in a white Odyysey packing box! A very good deal and I wish I looked at the merchandise before the aucition.

I think I can dig one of those rf switches up.,...hwta's so different about it though? My odyssey 200,300 and ^2 seem to work fine going through any other game systems's rf switch...

Different jack, different plug. At least all the Odysseys are compatible with each other.
