    Default Bookshelf of Doom

Well since I've been wanting to start getting my own collection pics up, as few as they are, I figured I'd start with the bookshelf i keep most my collection on.

From left to right top shelf: Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Ewok's Adventure and A2600 Activision manuals in that bag.
From left to right bottom shelf: boxed Atari 2600 games, boxed INTV, boxed NES (MM4 and MM6, and Tengen), Lunar 2 and FF3 box, Jap DQIV and FF6 carts, and my spare NES sleeves.

I'll take some pics of the games in my room with my systems shortly.

Pretty small collection but you have some of the basic games so that is good.

Thanks, the bulks of my collection are in my room scattered about where my systems and cases are. The stuff on the bookshelf is what I've collected mainly.

I miss the days when I could store my video games on a single shelving unit...
one time collector of consoles...I've had them all, literally. I'm now selling everything to raise money for Northwest Harvest, a charity that provides food and clothing for families in need in the Northwestern United States.

Looks good so far man. You've got the essentials right there, and that's really all you need.

Spare NES sleeves are nice to have. Right now, I'd like to know the feeling.

    You tease!

Boxed Cosmic Commuter, I need one of those! Teh NTSC Asterix isn't half bad either, Here's my little bookshelf of Doom.

BTW Kaine, it's not in how much you have, honestly after downsizing for a couple years, I much prefer a smaller, more focused collection! And by the same token, a smaller collection of good games, are worth far more than a whole bookcase full of crap you'll never play. Everyone collects for different reasons. Some want everything, including the junk, some only keep what they enjoy. You have some great games in there, definitely some keepers! That Ewoks for example I'm sure alot of folks here would love to own, but there are only a select few with one of those in their collections. Sadly I don't have one, and they are all in the hands of collectors now, so my chances of owning one now are slim. But a nice collection, even if small, very cool! I spy Mega Mans, & lots of Activision carts, cool stuff!

Hey what's those paw looking things on top the case? Plush kittie?

I was wondering because I used to have the exact same thing and gave it away as a Secret Santa gift in 2002, so there's a chance that used to be mine.

If it had some water damage on it then it might have been.

@Kaine23 Nice collection. All the Tengen stuff looks cool.

@QoF Nice boxed Atari games. Very nice.

    @video_game_addict very nice.

My bookshelf of doom is two tall units with three extra shelves each filled with boxed 32X and Genesis games.

Speaking of Secret Santas, I recognize some of those Activision carts!
