Sorry this one is late folks. Several unavoidable delays happened all at once.

This is a cool puzzle game recommended by Jive3D. He doesn't have a challenge for us, so go ahead, download the Rom and have fun.

Nice little puzzle game, that might not be as difficult as the Lolo games, but still has some brain stumping levels every now and then. The Extra game you get after winning does contain some very challenging puzzles, especially the last one. I guess just completing that would be a good challenge.

I recommend that fans of Kickle Cubicle also try the Japanese version "Meikyuujima" sometime. A lot of the stages are different from the US release and the game's more difficult. Some of the stages from the Extra game are actually regular levels that show up during the course of the Japanese game.

PM Mr. Cuewarrior. I can't wait to play this game. I used to play it all of the time, but then I had to sell the cart. Well at least I have FCEUltra now.

Kid Fenris blessed me with a cartridge of this one not too long ago, I say Irem didn't make enough NES games. Think there were four total, domestic? Ah well. I have this and Metal Storm and I think they're both swell games.

I found Kickle to be embarassingly easy for the first world, but the second world's been picking up and I've even died in a few spots, so it's a welcome pace as opposed to being dropped in a rock hard game from the getgo.

I've been neglecting contributing to the club lately....I must apologize for that. Chalk it up to being busy with school and the fact that the last couple games didn't interest me too much. As for Kickle Cubicle, this is the first time in a quite a long while that I've plugged this game into my system. Like a couple others have said, this is a very fun puzzle game in the vein of the classic Lolo series. Kickle does seem to be easier to pick up and play than the Lolo titles, although I must confess that I haven't put much time into the Lolo games (even though I own 2 & 3). Actually, Kickle is another game that I own that I haven't played a whole lot. Messing around with it tonight, I got to the second world (Fruit World) before packing it in for now; sadly enough, this is probably the longest I've actually ever played the game. I like it, but for some reason or another I never bothered to play much of it. The game isn't terribly difficult so far, but I'm guessing that the later worlds are are probably extremely tough - there seems to be a nice difficulty curve so far. I'll be checking in throughout the week with my progress and my final evaluation of the game.

For some silly reason, I've always managed to confuse this game with Kid Niki, despite the fact that they are completely different games. I guess all the K's amd C's mess up my brain or something

Anyways, this game is good, if a little low on the challenge side of things (I was especially surprised how easy it was to beat the first boss). I can't help but feel that it's somewhat of a poor man's Adventures of Lolo, but hell, you can never have too many games like this, right?

I have to admit that I was quite impressed with the "wavy beanstalk" effect after you clear the first set of levels. For a game with rather minimal graphics, I certainly didn't expect that.

This is a good game, it's actually a port of an arcade game.

there's one level that stumped me for the longest time; I think it's the fourth to last level. the screen is a square, with a single monster generator in the center which spits out one of those blue things, and a cannon. The screen is barren exept for a few spots where you can place an ice barrier.

Anyway, the exact path you have to create to fill in one tiny hole to get the last sack is very difficult. Infact, every level after that, including the 30 bonus rounds are comparably easy as pie.

Still, a fun game, and there's even a guest appearance by Kid Niki (if you know the secret code)

Arqueologia_Digital, I'll add you to the list.

Am I the only one who gets Pengo flashbacks while playing this game? Something about the character makes me think of Pengo's penguin and kicking the ice blocks.

Has anyone else found Toy Land to be excruciatingly difficult?

Opinion: Man, I love kickle cubicle. It may be a tad easy, but it is just so much fun. Unfortunately I don't have a cart yet, but I'll be on the look out. I like the music, and I really like the graphics everything is great about the game.
    Platform: FCEUltra
Progress: Working on it, but I've gotten to the second series of stages so far, but I'll get farther.

Opinion- I love the way this game looks. Nice vibrant colors. Very neat sprites. The game also has good play control and music. I never had this one when I was younger. When I started my second collection ,this was one of the first games I picked up. The only real downer is that the game is a bit on the easy side. Especially when compared to other puzzle games on the NES.

    Platform- NES

    Progress- I Completed the game.

Yes, Irem had some Kick ass NES games.

Was the arcade game released under tha same name? Any big changes made to the home version?

I'm just finishing up Toyland now. I'm stuck on a level, but trying not to look for help online yet.

I'm really addicted. I was playing this on my GBASP and flash cart in the bathtub and got so pissed at dying that I nearly threw it across the room.

    Good stuff.

I hate to complain, but aren't we overdue for a new NES Club game?
