In your dreams mate! If someone buys this then I will personally go round to their house and hit them on the head with a stick.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see that sell. When I read your post I was expecting to see a starting price of £100 or something.
I've seen it go for £70+ a couple of times recently, and while it's in no way worth that, some muppet will probably go for it.
You better keep that hitting stick handy...
That game has been popular lately hasnt it?
I bet somebody buys it

Now, whether the seller gets the money is another question...
The buyer's already got one negative as a NPB.
Right. Time for the ...
I refuse to believe that the open market value of this game should be any more than about £40, which is what it has been for ages up until the recent madness. For goodness sake, it's not as if it's not appearing very often even .. I haven't seen a PAL Kolibri on ebay UK for ages, but I bet it wouldn't go for as much as these Chaotix carts are fetching.
Still, I have a spare Kolibri hanging around, so I might pop it on after Easter just to see what it goes for. Or I might just keep it sitting in my trade box for when I spot something nice

It seems most of these sellers won't ship outside of Europe. The ratio for sellers refusing to ship outside their own country seems higher for Europe then it does for the USA/Canada. Wonder why?

It's probably because you have to go to such extraordinary lengths to make it absolutely clear that PAL games won't just work fine on a US system without some kind of adapter. If you don't you inevitably end up with some US buyer bidding a stupid amount, complaining about the postage and then getting antsy because they've stuck it in their Playstation / Genesis / Sega CD and it doesn't work. Sorry to say it, but it is true!
I have to tag a huge message into every single one of my auctions to this effect - and I still sometimes get people doing this to me. And the trouble is that if you as much as mention that it will play with a converter, or modified console then eBay pulls your auction.
So for most people it's just not worth the hassle of making it available to US buyers. This is especially so for the 32X since there is no converter available for it. For games that are not cross compatible, the only way to play it would be to buy a full UK set-up, and I thnk Chaotix is one of those. Certainly the NTSC Chaotix that I had didn't work on my PAL machine.

And then contacting their credit card companies to issue a fraudulent chargeback despite the fact that the auction clearly stated "This is a PAL European game. No refunds will be given for compatibility issues"Originally Posted by Vroomfunkel
Or maybe that's just my cretinous American buyers...
Despite that, I'm still pretty sure that more European sellers ship worldwide than US ones. At least 80% of US-based auctions I see won't go outside of North America.
The ones that make me smile are the Euro sellers who state "Will ship to Europe, Australasia, Africa, Mexico and Central America, South America, Middle East, Carribbean and Asia" [ie. everywhere except North America ]
Dammit!! Didn't spot this one in time!!!

It's at a decent price now, but I bet it won't be in 3 days time. The £60 BIN is a bit high, but given the recent outlandish prices, it's not that insane.
