I own an original r-zone. When it came out, it was packaged in that damn annoying plastic stuff that Tiger packages everything in. I say original, because there is the headset version, and the actual portable handheld version. The games are simple lcd tiger games. They come on small cartridges. The headset concept was cool though. You put on a headset, and a little mirror looking thing would flip down and you could see the lcd game on it. Of course, the games sucked. Everybody knows that the only lcd game worth having from tiger is their handheld game pinball. Thats about all I can think of now about the r-zone, but since I own one, I know a little bit about it. Let me know if you have any more questions.

R-Zone, eh? God help your immortal soul.

They came packaged in blister-packs, very much like Tiger handheld games come. You had to cut the package open to get to the game (though if you cut carefully along the bottom you can squeeze the cart in and out without overly destroying the packaging.

I forget the original prices, someone else can lend an assist on that one.

There's this FAQ too, which is pretty helpful:

... and the R-Zone will be covered in our upcoming book. You can get some info on the games and various systems at our beta online database as well:

    Have fun!

R_zone was this really obnoxious guy, who REALLY liked Rocky movies....

Oh, the console. I found one at a flea market, but haven't tried it out yet, I don't think I have any games for it, and have no IDEA how to use the thing, heh.

Yeah, I guess that's a useless post right there. Game on!
