what you're showing (the box), isn't that just an enclosure and not the drive itself so in theory you could've just pulled the drive out and dumped it into your pc
but I'm interested...
Correct, you can take the drive out of the enclosure and use it for a hard drive or anything else that will fit in it.
DVD Burner on its way to ebay, previous comments referred to that.
I'll leave this up for a day or so more, then it's off to ebay!
I would set the BIN at $650. I know it will sell at that price for sure, and you have to cover those outrageous fees somehow. Fees are going to be about $25-50....
I'm not sure it would sell at 650 but it might. MacMall is selling new iBooks for 699 (I've been drooling over them), but then again, eBay's buyers sometimes aren't all that up on the current cost of hardware
They never are. I sold mine for $750 shipped overnight and the guy was elated. Had a smaller hard drive and I think the rest of the specs were the same, as long as that's the 12" model....Originally Posted by icbrkr
Yep, and because of this conversation, it got me looking on eBay. My iBook blueberry is now up there too. With those ridiculous prices, I'm going to sell my old one and get a new one. I did the same thing last year when I needed a new video card for my G4. I sold my old GF2MX for 125, and bought a Radeon 8500 for 160. Weird.Originally Posted by nesuser2
Ebay is usually the worst place to look for laptops. There are good deals but if it's bid only....forget it. I sold my Ibook in january and paid for a compaq...which I sold for a grand and paid for my Vaio which cost a mere $1500 but compaq's and HP's are so cheaply made that it's actually sickening. Ibooks are also of very high standards.....VERY high and if anybody is really into mac's, I suggest they obtain one and $600 is one hell of a deal.
