    Default Heads up...BOGO at EB???

I was in my new local EB last night, and found two NES games I had been trying to find for a while Tiny Toons Cartoon Workshop and Nightmare on Elm Street 7.99 a piece, pricy I know but I was tired of not finding them so I bought them...

Went to the counter... Guy says $17 something... I swipe my card... comes up $8.57

I didn't say anything.... got home and looked at my receipt... says Elm street $0.00 Disc. 7.99 Promo #1472

There were no signs in the store, and the guy didn't seem to know either, if he did, he sure didn't tell me.... I'm not sure if this is all preplayed games or if it is all stores...so you might want to call before you go. they are pricy, but if it rings up BOGO, you can get a reasonable deal if you watch what you get
By all means, turn me into a child star.... Perhaps I can move to Californ-i-ay and wrangle me a three-way with the Olsen twins

Just called my dad and he said that "older systems" that the mall stores don't tend to carry are indeed having a BOGO sale right now.

BOGO = Buy One, Get One.

Too lazy to probably ever finish up my older games, but collection funtime.

It's buy one get one free on NES, SNES, and genesis games.

They are way too expensive at EBgames though. Most of them are 14.99.

That's the dillemma around my area. The EB has a ton of stuff, usually more expensive than the Gamestop, but the Gamestop's selection is... well... sickly's a good word. The clerk told be about the BOGO last week but I had no idea when it started. Looks like I know where I'm going on my lunch hour tomorrow.

None of the EBGames stores around here (Portland, OR) carry any NES, SNES or Genesis, so the oldest thing you'll usually ever find there is a launch PSX title. However, I did notice a boxed NES Max controller at the EB I visited earlier tonight.

No big deal though, as I'm convinced that EB will charge as much as they can for most of their stuff. I've found a few things there that were the same price or a few bucks less than what Gamestop would charge for it, but most of the time, the prices are higher.

And I know of stores that charge less than EB/Gamestop anyways.
