Default Looking for the issue no./date a Gamepro article was in

I don't know if anyone can help me with this, but if anyone collects gaming mags, maybe they'll know this. Not long before the Saturn and Playstation came out, Gamepro had a feature on all the systems that would be competing soon, with pictures and a short description of each. Those two were there, plus others, like the Neo Geo CD, the Atari Jaguar, the 16-bits, the SNES and Genesis, plus the Sega CD. There were others, probably the 3DO. If I recall correctly, I believe it listed how many units were sold in the US for the older systems, and the expected release date for the new ones. I think the pages were a brownish color. I'd like to get this article for nostalgia purposes, but I don't remember which issue it was in. Must have been 94 or 95 though, probably 95. Anyone have any idea which issue it was?

i believe the magazine you are referring to is called the cutting edge,it was from the makers of gamepro.i dont remember if it was a one shot deal,or if it was going to be a bi-monthly thing.i do have the magazine you are referring to.it had all of the upcoming releases for the psx and sega saturn(those systems were not out yet),and it had alot of 3do and atari jaguar stuff in it.it even had some games in it that never got released as well.i do own the mag,but its most likely boxed away in my basement or my closet,so i am just going by my memory of the magazine.hope this helps.

I think I remember the article you're talking about, and it was definitely in a "regular" GamePro article. When I get some time, I'll see if I can find it. It should be sometime in '94 or '95.

Whoops! I almost forgot about this thread! Anyways, I think I found the article you're looking for. It's called "Once And Future Kings", and it's on page 28 of the May 1995 Gamepro.

The article discusses the SNES, Genesis, 3DO, Jaguar, JagCD, NeoGeo, NeoGeo CD, CD-i, 32X, SegaCD/CDX, Saturn, Playstation, and "Ultra 64"... there's also a requiem for the NES at the end of the article.
