Default Luigi's Mansion - Hint needed

I'm having some trouble with the fat ghost with the cake. I get the candles lit, capture his servant ghosts, and vacuum up his cake so that he starts spitting fire at me. How do I get him to show me his heart? I did it once but can't figure out how I did it...

I'm loving this game, it's just gorgeous.

yeah he was a little tough but as said just run along the bottom of the screen and avoid his fireballs

He will tire out and start panting then hit him with the flashlight and start sucking!!!!

If you need anymore help , let me know

    I finished the game

The final boss is really tough
