Best PS2 Mod Chip ?

I've got a launch PS2, and i want to know which mod chip is the best (easiest would be nice, but i'm no slouch with the soldering iron). I dont want any swapping type stuff. I have various ps1/ps2 imports i want to be able to play, no back-ups, bootlegs, or any other illegal crap, just imports.
