whatever happened to Accolade? Are they still around? Any coders from Activision still with them?

Accolade was bought out in 1999 by Infogrames, according to IGN. Infogrames is now Atari, according to their website.

EDIT: Here's a press release from April, 1999.
According to an announcement released today by Accolade, Lyons, France-based Infogrames Entertainment, S.A. will acquire the American video game publisher and developer. Infogrames has reportedly signed a deal to acquire Accolade, Inc., a privately-owned firm based in San Jose, California, with annual sales of around $50 million. Details of the deal were not disclosed.
According to Infogrames CEO Bruno Bonnell, the acquisition of Accolade will help the French company reach its goal of $1 billion in revenues by the year 2002. Accolade owns and publishes several popular game franchises, including HardBall and Test Drive, and focuses on sports and racing games on the PC. Accolade is also developing the forthcoming 3D action game Slave Zero.
Infogrames is a major publisher of both console and PC titles. The firm published Hexplore and Wetris for the PC recently and is working on the action/adventure game Outcast for the PC as well. On the Nintendo 64, Infogrames has published several titles, including Mission Impossible. Just last month, Infogrames announced a deal to buy console game developer Gremlin as well, as part of their ongoing expansion campaign.
Thank you...
Hey no problem.
As a C64 owner back in the day, I grew up loving Accolade! They were kind of like the EA Sports of their time:
10th Frame
4th and Inches
Fast Break
Grand Prix Circuit
Hardball
Rack 'Em
Serve and Volley
Test Drive 1 and 2
TKO
Here were some of my other Accolade faves:
Ace of Aces
Accolade Comics
Apollo 18: Mission to the Moon
Card Sharks
Killed Until Dead
Law of the West
Mini-Putt
Psi-5 Trading Company
Stratego
Lemon64 has a few others listed that I don't remember.
