Unlicensed Gameboy Modules from Sachen and a Xonox Double Ender for A2600 \^^/
Hmm... i wouldn't say it's my rarest system but by far my best deal. I found an European (PAL) Neo Geo home system, boxed and in very good condition at a flea market several years ago. And the price... about 25 dollar (200 swedish krona)!!! I later sold it with a ten times profit which i now regret though. =(
One fine day I found 3 shrinkwrapped Adventurevision cartridges. Really!
It was at a used bookstore. There was no console to be found, but I got Turtles, Super Cobra, and Space Force for $2 each.
I ended up trading Turtles for a Vectrex and a bunch of games, and I sold the others at the CGE for about $200 each.
But, like a lot of you, if I had found the console, I surely would have kept them all for myself.
That day will always be the best find ever....so far.
It's only a game if you PLAY it!

The rarest thing I found was just a Cruis'n Exotica for the Nintendo. It rates an R5.

Things in the wild...
Well, it's been a LONG time (at least it seems like it), mid 80's if I remember correctly. I got these along with 100 total Atari 2600 games, all for $1 each. A guy was just selling them at a rummage.
These are the rare ones that I remember from the collections I bought:
Halloween - Wizard Video (7 - DP rarity)
Jawbreaker - Tigervision (5)
Marauder - Tigervision (6)
Miner 2049'er Vol. II - Tigervision (7)
Swordquest: Waterworld - Atari (7)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre - Wizard Video (6)
And, as with most rare games, I traded or sold them away, and don't have them anymore. This was done for various reason:
1 - game too hard (Miner)
2 - game just plain sucked, so out the door with it (waterworld).
3 - someone else needed it and such
4 - I collect to play, not horde
That is the best I've done in the wild.
(darn thing is, I remember selling Miner II to get rid of it, as it was too hard, but I just checked a few hours ago just for the heck of it, and I have another copy of it! I was rather surprised to see it in the box of game I have. I have no idea how I got that again. Short term memory is the first to go, or so is said, but this is crazy).
That is about the rarest I've found in WI. Never seen any site of protos where I live. I'm always a bit jealous of those that just find these.
