I was looking at the prices for castlevania chronicles and came across this seller. I dunno if the BIN price on this one seems a little high or not?

Can you say typo? Does that cost him more to list?
I'm guessing yes to the first part, since some of his other sealed NES games seem to run at a BIN price of $49.95. (Which, for SMB1, seems high but whatever.)Originally Posted by icruise
Not sure about the second part, because I've never listed anything that pricey myself. I believe the extra value fees only get tacked on by eBay after the item sells.

Am I the only that that sees the entire auction as one big scame!??
Black boxed NES games were never shrink wrapped!! All they had was a simply sticker holding the lid closed. Only later titles came out shrink wrapped!
@leon: that doesnt matter, nobody is crazy enough to pay that much for such a common game!
the BIN is not a mistake and the black boxes did come sealed in shrink wrap, in the USA anyway.
leonk, your confusion is probably due to the fact that in Canada, which I see is where you live, they were sealed as you desribe, but in the US they were sealed with the standard shrinkwrap/horizontal seam.
As for the BIN price, it's not a mistake - SMB sealed regularly sells for around $100-200. $400 is very aggressive, but I've dealt with that seller before and he does try to get high prices whenever possible. Nothing wrong with that of course, but it isn't a typo.....
Well, I just hope he does'nt get it.

I also have a brand new duck hunt never opened its not the smb/dh common cart its stand alone duck hunt cart brand new never been opened at all ...
Good luck on that sealed game. Lol.Originally Posted by Nez

Someones selling me a sealed SMB1 for 20 US...do you think i should get it?? Im not sure its a rare game after all....someone in this thread mentioned that it usually goes for 100-200 US, but the bid for the featured auction of this thread is still at 10 US!!
Do you think i should get that 20 US SMB1 a friends selling to me?
Definitely get that for $20. It still is at 10, but it does have 5 days left. It will go for at least $50, but most likely more. Get that, then resell.Originally Posted by suppafly
