Not a bad week myself either. We hit up two sub sales, a block sale, and a few random ones. I found:

$2 for this lot of sega CD stuff:

these are mint, and complete with the foam block
    Mickey Mania
    FIFA International Soccer
    Tomcat Alley
    Jurassic Park
    Sonic CD

Night Trap w/manual (not sure which version it is)
    Sewer Shark w/manual

$5 for this lot of GB stuff:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 2: Back from the Sewers
    Blades of Steel
    Double Dragon II
    Tetris
    Super Mario Land
Some cheap (but official) carrying case

$20 for this lot of Atari 800XE stuff:
    Color Monitor
    800 XE Computer
    Printer
    2 Joysticks
    BASIC Cartridge
    A whole crapload of 5.25 floppies (50ish?)
    Flight Simulator (complete)
And all of the hook ups....

There were also a few Apple 2 software titles in the box.....a couple were complete, don't remember the titles off hand...

SNES console with 2 controllers, hookups and DKC - $5
(this same lady had a DC with 2 sports games, 2 controllers, and a mem card for $5, and a loose N64 with hookups for $5 but I passed.....already have 5 DCs and 3 N64's)

Like new in box set of Akklaim wireless SNES controllers - $1

    Like new Wario 8" plush - $.75

Final Fantasy XI w/ HDD - 49.99 (got this thursday evening actually)

    Default Toys R Us finds

The yard sales got rained out so I git a few thrifts, funcoland and Toys R Us.

TRU is having a sale on some PS2 and PS1 games got these for $7.99 ea:

Pryzm Chapter One: the Dark Unicorn.
    Dark Cloud
    Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance
Mad Maestro! - Looked bad so maybe it will be rare some day.

Also got a Dreamcast Bass fishing for 4.90

Two off the three Funcoland/GameStops close by had gotten rid of all of there pre PS1 stuff. The other stil had NES, SNES and Geni stuff. I wonder how long they will keep it around.

Best find at the Thrifts was an Atari 130xe computer with about 6 games. for $3.00.

sad news today as the video game/music exchange near me is closed

i went to game crazy and actually bought a couple of genesis sports carts, USA Basketball for 49 cents, and Wimbledon Tennis for 99 cents. USA Basketball is hillarious, before the start of each game, there is a geography lesson. despite the dominace of the Dream Team in the 92 Olymipics, this game is so freakin slow that you cant imagine this being the greatest basketball team ever assembled.

now Wimbledon was a surprise, playing it you realize that Sega had something with the game of tennis before Virtua Tennis. While not mind blowing, the game is still very impressive, and probably the most fun 2D tennis game this side of Activision Tennis.

For the NES i picked up The Last Ninja for 99 cents. i have no idea what im doing, and the action is too freakin slow for me to give a dam

I got G Darius for PSX, and this is one trippy game. They are trying to do everything they can with 3D while maintaining classic 2D shooting gameplay. its a bit on the trippy side. A nice little game, but i still prefer Darius Gaiden on Saturn

The last title i picked up was Headhunter on PS2. It came out to be 6 bucks after i got my free 3rd used game at Gamestop. Its nothing spectacular, your typical run around and shoot bad guys in a 3D world. But it is a Sega game, and the newscasts in the opening are pretty funny.

    Default My finds

Kinda a slow weekend for me

    Knuckles Choatix 2.99 at savers
Double Dragon (genesis) 4.00 at local used shop

On a side note a couple days earlier I was back in my hometown visiting a friend and while looking through some boxes from my old room I found 5 game gear games (Shining Force, Nba Action, Mortal Kombat 2, Riddick Bowe Boxing, and Road Rash) and TMNT Fall of the Foot Clan for gameboy. What shocked me even more was that I thought all my game gear games and the system were sold when I was in high school at a garage sale we had. Now I need a game gear again.
