Default Lets talk about these GBA MULTICARTS that are out there now

At a local junk electronics store I had got 3 different Game Boy Advanced, Each one has 8 Nintendo games on 1. I paid 27 bucks each which is expensive but I was really excited to play the first Castelvania, 1942, 1943 and rare Japanese only games like Devil World and Front Line.
Anyway, soon afterward I saw on Ebay that tyhere were 200 in 1 and 120 in 1, etc multicarts, my jaw dropped. They even have some real GBA games like Spider man and Harry Potter on them.
Does anyone know where they come from, and where can I get them. I just got one from e bay with 120 games on it and its great, but these Multicarts are being yanked off of ebay very quickly.
I was wondering if anybody else has gotten some of these multicarts?

Really, I'm just gonna say that buying these is not something I'm going to condone. This isn't just unlicensed stuff, this is illegal, and very much so.

Buy these and I'll bleed you - real quiet. :D

There is usally one GBA Game on these multicards and a number of emulatet NES Games.
There are some "newer" games like Spiderman 2, Harry Potter and Pokemon Yellow on these cards, but they are just poor hacks of other games.

Why not just buy a GBA flash cart and you can make any multi cart variations you want?

I'm not trying to sound argumentative, but so what? Using a flash cart is so much better than buying a pirate it's not even comparable.

    Exactly.

Anyways, a GBA flashcart can hold over a hundred NES games sometimes. 8 games seems like a cheap cash in cart. Fuck that. Buy a flash cart.

GBA Multicarts? Jeez, you are stuck in the past. GB multicarts were one thing back in the day (I was blown away by my super 54-in-1 GB cart back then) But now? There is no reason for you to waste cash on a multicart when Flash cards are available, cheap, easy to use, and can hold way more NES games than anyone could possibly handle.

All they (the multicart makers) are doing is buying up lots of Flash carts, loading them with roms, maybe making a new sticker and selling you only the cartridge alone without the linker hardware or software.

I'll bet if you opened up your GBA multi cart and took a pic and posted it in the GBA emu forums (on say, GBAtemp forums) someone would recognise the chipset as being a flash cart - then you can buy the linker, DL the software and have a flash cart. But boy oh boy, just get a flash cart so I dont have to rant anymore. ^_^

Actually. A lot of the time. They're permanently-burned ROMs. Not even Flash. ho Flash carts are getting cheaper so you might get lucky and find one.

..I personally need a Linker and 256 card for Ebooks.

A flash cart is useless to me unless there is one out there that will work with a Mac. Maybe someday I'll get a PC but until then, I have to stick to multicarts.

I'm also a Mac user. Do what I did if you're gonna sink money into a flash cart - go to a pawn shop or used software place and pick up an old PC. I mean, some old ones may not even run you fifty bucks nowadays, and the flash software isn't very taxing on the system.

EDIT: Oh, and get a copy of MacDrive98 so you can run Mac CDs on your PC. PM me if you need a hookup, since I don't think they sell it anymore.
