    Default Weekend Finds 6/26-6/27

Can't beleave no one has started one for this week end yet.

    From a local thrift:

Box of NES stuff for $7.00:
    2 NES systems
    4 controlers
    2 RF switches
    NES Advantage controler
    Zapper
    21 NES Games.

Off topic but some what related from a Yard sale:

Two boxes of very old computer stuff for $2.00
Looks like Late 70's computer kit stiff, you this was when you did not buy a computer like a Commodore 64 but a kit and built it your self. I am still researshing but it looks like I have parts for more than one computer:

Blue metal case with label ELF II
Blue metal case with keyboard in it labled as a ASCII keyboard
Bare Circute board on wood blocks labled ELF II, Has an RCA 1802 Processor which I think is the same one used in the RCA Studio II.
Two Circute boards Made by Intergrated Computer System with lots of Intel chips on them

If anyone knows anything about early computers I would love to know more about these things.

Got 10 NES games for $15 bucks:

    Gold Zelda
    Mafat Conspiracy
    Burai Fighter
    Infiltrator
    Yoshi's Cookie
    Loopz
    Donkey Kong Classics
    Shadowgate
    Faxanadu
    Skate or Die

The only bummer was that I found when I got home that the Gold Zelda had a piece of the case broken off near the bottom. Circuit board is fine and plays well, but a bit of a downer. A good mix of games for my trade/sale list anyway.

Ugh. I totally crapped out at garage sales this week. Not a single thing. AND my master system's control slots stopped working today. Oh well. Guess I'll treat my self to a new master system with some games on ebay....

    SniperCCJVQ,

That appears to be it. On closer exam I seem to have 2 of them. One like in the link and one in a IBM blue case. What is missing is the expansion cards.

    Thanks

    Passed up at Goodwill:

    Genesis Model 1 w/ controller & cords $10
Genesis Model 2 no price tag (& no cords)
    Genesis controller $3
Genesis 3rd party controller no price tag (shoulda bought it)
Genesis PGA Tour Golf II loose $3
Genesis OutRun loose $3 (it was w/ music cassettes so I took it over & put it in the Genny- my good deed for the day!)

$10 Toy Commander (DC), got Sega Championship Rally 2 (DC) FREE w/ 2 for 1 deal, going back for more soon!

Also found a new (to me) game store- Game Cauldron in Roseville, MN. Good selection- a few Atari 2600 BOXED CARTS up to PS2/Xbox. Big tables of boxed & loose Genesis & S/NES. Decent prices. Clean, well-organized, & the clerk was friendly & knowledgeable. If he's reading this- "I'm impressed!"
