I was just at the super market and read this in an Xbox mag:
"It's been bandied about before, but momentum is growing behind the suggestion that Nintendo is desiging the architecture that will power the next Xbox. Aparently PowerPC-powered G5 Macintoshes (of all things) are in circulation to game developers working on next-generation games. The PowerPC core in the G5 - a version of which is the processing chip at teh heart of the GameCube - leadds to speculation that microsoft has turned some hardwre design decisions to the Japanese giant that has been taking a bath on its nono-handheld hardware in recent years. Why would this make sense? It would help Ninentdo graciously bail out of the monstrously expensive console hardware market, while still having a device it's intimately attachet to, plus it gives Microsoft improved cachet in the tought-to-crack Japanese market, as well as a platform for iller titles form Nintendo's still world-beating game design studios. Win, win, win, it seems."

Now I hope this is a load of crap to make an Xbox mag seem interesting. We already lost Sega and I would hate to see Nintendo go. All said though with the video game market I could see this happening as much as I would hate it. Why can't Nintendo and Sega team up?
