They're worth playing if you can read Japanese. If not, just get the US ones (Persona, Persona 2, Revelations Demon Slayer, and Demi Kids light and dark). I've only played the US ones and they're quite good
Oh yeah..and Shin Megami Tensei 3 is gonna be called "Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne" here in the US come fall!

The Snes Shin Megami Tensei 1 and 2 have been fan translated. I recommend those 2 over any of the offical US translated games.
