It was probably a case from a rental store because it looks like the same kind of thing that local rental stores around here keep systems in.

My small socket set came in a plastic case identical to that one - now there's and idea...

First thing that crossed my mind. There's a gamers out here that sells carrying cases for a sega saturn and they look just like that. Case with a sticker.

I have one for the Snes that looks just like that. The sticker says Super Nintendo outside of it.

Yes, it is a rental case.

I remember seeing those at Blockbuster because my sister let me 'borrow' one through her store account at the Blockbuster Store she worked at.

It's a pretty nifty carrying case because it fits the 32X unit, cables, AC adaptor and about 2 cartridges (If I remember) in customized foam spaces.

Back in the early to mid 90's when Blockbuster rented out EVERYTHING needed for someone to play almost any video game console out there.

They even rented the 32X games.

This is just like the Virtual Boy case I have. I bought my vb from the local game shop and got a bb case.

Those are really cool cases, but it would suck to not have a 32x in it. i already have an original box for my 32x, so i would have to get another 32x for my case (i am having the exact opposite problem with my vb ).
