I like the magazine Game Informer, but my subscription is about to run out.

Do any of you know of any of those free magazine subscription offers for this mag? I seem to remember some in the past, but have checked around and can't find any right now.

Just look at cheapassgamer or newer website forums looking to gain members. The problem with getting GI for free is that you wouldn't get the discount card (not that 10 percent is much of a discount anyways).
