Good article! I liked Steve Allison's attitude -- it was almost like he's frustrated or confused as to why these sell over their newer games. He all but says, "they demand shit, and we give it to them, and they love it."
That article's the first time I've heard about Midway Treasures 3, but if they cost a million to make and make a $20 million return, it's a no brainer. My theory is, the newer the games the comps contain, the more the return will be. Games of the early 90's ... anyone care to make some guesses?
I'm glad to be one of the sickies who still has an Atari 2600.
Who wouldnt want to play all there fav games. Games that we know are good that have lasted the test of time.
Plus your playing on a well oiled machine, dont get me wrong I LOVE my nes and when i found it in a box (someone else packed it away without permission) and i saw blinky i loved it but know it gets on my nerves.
