That guy has some cool stuff, but it's really pricey.

That thing looks awesome. If I had money to throw around I'd probably pick it up.

It lets you edit title screens and text of movies and stuff, and of course it plays Famicom Games. The Famicom Titler is very rare outside of Japan, and the price he is asking for is actually pretty good. If I had the money I would buy it.

Funny you should say you don't see this everyday. The seller has had this up for sale for the past year straight. Unless the seller has more than one.

HAHAHA... So, maybee he has had it on ebay for the last year, but do you know anyone else who has had one for sale? What I am saying is that you don't see these very often, whith the exception of Lingjr's unit, and Lingjr is known for having rare stuff.

I know you "don't have any actually", but you could probably get them for that. I reallly don't know exactly how rare these units are. A while back, a thread was made on Assembler that was titled "Rarest video game system" and one of the members mentioned the Titler as being very rare. Then another member, who lives in Japan, said that they were not all that rare. Both members knew a great deal about the rarity of video game systems, so it seems that this unit is rare in the US, but is common in Japan.

I own a Titler, and I love it. The real value for me is in the s-video output and the asthetics--it looks like a famicom neo geo.

Never tried the title angle of the unit.

The system is not rare, but is certainly not common.

Sorry to ruin your day Dreamscape. :P So much drama in DPC, kinda hard being sp double o n ie.

Yes, it is uncommon. My guess would be this was a very pricey Fami unit back in the day (Think PSX The PS2version.) Therefore adding to the rarity of the machine. I HAVE been tempted to buy this more than once.

Hm. Last time I saw one it was in the box, going for somewhere north of $500. I'm not gonna suggest anybody make a hasty decision, but that looks like a pretty good price.

Maybe S&H outta HK will do it...
