I'd buy Castlevania...if it wasn't for flash carts. I'd rather do that and put the mega man series and ninja gaiden on there =D.

I'll probably end up importing Zelda 2 to match my Japanese Zelda one and keeping an eye out for used carts of the two titles later on.

This whole classics series has been extremely disapointing and I refuse to buy the American copies new.

But why? Super Mario Bros. is worth 20 bucks, right??? I mean come on. It's MARIO.

See, I could be an ad copywriter for Nintendo.

    Meh.

I still need to get Excitebike from the first series...the only one I wanted there...

    Did I say Meh yet??

Zelda 2 and Castlevania are the only titles in that line-up worth it, hands down.

Quoted for emphasis. Nintendo comes up with something new on the Gamecube occasionally while the GBA gets drowned in rereleases....Game Boys have been selling strong on rehashes since 1995 (1998 over here)

Who cares about selection - this is a total ripoff. Why can't Nintendo put 10 or so games on a GBA cart (you could put hundreds on the bigger GBA carts)? They get away with this because people pay 20 bucks for ports of 20 year old games. Can you imagine Activision releasing ports of each game, separately, for 30 bucks on Ps2 instead of in an anthology? We'd be up in arms.

$, that's why, the pricks. Yeah, I know, it's their right to make money, blah, blah, fuckin blah. That doen't mean they aren't cheap-ass bastards, tho! It's very sleazy and used-car salesmanish to me.

Why'll were on the subject, wasn't there a fellow digitpress member here that made games such as California Rasins and Time Diver Eon Man with the help of doner carts?

Why pay $20 for the game when the orginal NES version costs under 10x less than that and more than likely will contain Duck Hunt?

Besides, Mario 3 is a much better game. Nintendo's brilliant idea that the "Master Levels" had to be downloaded via a E-reader and 2nd GBA totally turned me off from buying that release.

This is why i dont really care for the current Nintendo. $20 for a re-release of an extremly cheap & dirt common game and having to buy 50 things to get the most out of a ported game.

Possibility is infinity! You must be satisfied!

You just can't handle my jawusumness responces. -The Sizz

i'm actually quite disgusted that zelda 2 got the green light....IMO, worst nes game ever. castlevania = overrated, metroid = boring, dr mario = yet another puzzler.
Where the hell is punch-out! ? Contra? R.C. Pro-Am? SOMETHING GOOD MAYBE? ARGH!

Yes, much worse than Color a Dinosaur, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Bad Street Brawler, and Eliminator Boat Duel.
