Has anyone here beaten all the Nintendo (Nes, Snes, GB/C, N64) Zelda games?

My Gaming Collection (Now at Google Drive!)
I've beat all except the CD-I versions..
my fav. Zelda:OOT

I couldn't stand the N64 ones, and the Gamecube versions don't look to promising to me
I was thinking about this the other day actually, how I've always thought of Zelda as one of the best series' ever, and it occured to me, that their track record with me is pretty bad.
Zelda 1 - GREAT, what more to say? one of the best games ever
Zelda 2 - A decent game, but easily forgotten, could have been named "George saves the day" and noone would have noticed.
Zelda 3 - GREAT, what more to say? one of the best games ever
Zelda CD-I - Never played, but from what I've heard and seen, CRAP.
Zelda OOT - Not bad, but frustrating, confusing, and IMO badly designed with little/no story.
Zelda Majora - Didn't play due to OOT
Zelda Gamecube - BESIDES the fact that it looks a lot like the CDI versions <snicker> I don't think it's going to be any fun, plain and simple.
Zelda Gameboy (all) - I liked the first one I played, but it was bugged, there was one spot that was impossible to get past, and I mean that literally, the version I got, for whatever reason was missing something later on in the game that allowed you to finish it. It was a long time ago, I don't remember, but it was verified. SO, I guess I'll pass judgement of the gameboy Zelda games.
So there you have it. 2 unbelievably great games, and 7? ok/not good/bad games
Pretty bad track record all in all. (For me anyways)
Rend, slaughter, devour your enemies. There is no other way to survive. You cannot escape your hunger, Warriors of Purgatory

I have stayed AWAY from the CD-I titles, but the rest I have played through all of the way. Fun games, all of them. My personal favorite is definitely Ocarina of Time, and I liked Zelda DX on gameboy. Never cared of Zelda 2 though. I am buying a gamecube JUST for the new Zelda game (well, OK--Metroid too  ). I'm kind of "waiting to see" on the GBA Zelda though, since it looks to be just like the SNES version.

NES, SNES, & Gameboy Collector
Oracle of ages and seasons on the GBC are old school fun Sylent.. You should check them out if you liked link to the past.
The worst zelda's were 2 and DX.. but they arn't all that bad even for the worst of the games..
I guess my top Zelda games would be:
1)Zelda 1
2)Zelda: OOT
3)Zelda:A Link to the Past
4)Zelda:Oracle of Ages
5)Zelda Oracle of Seasons
6)Zelda:Majora's Mask
7)Zelda DX
8)Zelda 2 (it just doesn't fit in my book.)

I've played and finished them all except the CDI. I'm STILL playing through Ages/Seasons after finishing it one way (ages->seasons). I'm now doing seasons-ages. One version you guys are forgetting about is the Game & Watch version by the way
As far as 2 goes. I can't understand all the flack it took. Who gives a shit if it ventured away from the first one because that game was GOOD.. I for one DUG Zelda 2 on the NES immensely. I still think it's a fun game. Good stuff there. ^_^ Anyone who didn't like it is smoking crack :P
After all the Zelda I've played, OOT sort of fell flat to me. I guess I just didn't dig the whole "3D" thing, and it seemed like the puzzles were all recycled . I still like it though. My order of preference. I really liked Majoras Mask however.. nice and fresh
Zelda 3 (SNES)
Zelda 1 (NES)
Zelda 4 (DX) (GB/GBC)
Zelda 64 (MM)
Zelda 2 (NES)
Zelda - Ages
Zelda 64 (OOT)
Zelda - Seasons
G&W Zelda
Oh and for the record. Gamecube Zelda LOOKS AWESOME. I don't understand those who rip the graphics.. it totally reminds me of Dragons Lair in that it's a cartoon you can control (except even more so). Looks good.. reaaall good
My top Zeldas are probably Zelda 1, Zelda 3, OoT and Link's Awakening.
My Gaming Collection (Now at Google Drive!)
The only Zelda games I haven't played are the N64 and CDi ones (the N64 ones I will play eventually, when I lend them my Gamecube and games to my friends in exchange for their N64 and games, including OoT and Majora's Mask.
I have completed Zelda 1, A Link to the Past and Link's Awakening. I'm about half-way through the Oracle games. I've seen The Adventure of Link being completed but have never finished it myself.
Anyway, my fave Zelda games are the Oracle games (yes, I like them even more than A Link to the Past).
I love zelda 2 and I used to like it better then the first Zelda. REcently i went back and played the first Zelda through on both quest. I now realize this was a superior game. I love zelda 2 but I think its more of a child hood thing. Some reason I think of the old NES games as "magical". OOT is still my favorite though.
X-Box: Worst game system EVER!
I've played all but the 2 CD-i versions. And in overall, Zelda 2 for NES ranked the lowest of all. It's just not quite the same as it plays like a regular RPG game than other Zelda games.
My favorite would be the original Zelda or Zelda 3. As for 3D Zelda, it's close too. OoT is much bigger and more challenging but MM is easier and could be finished in one sitting. And MM has more uses, more colors, etc. (Get the special milk for 200 rupees, drink up for unlimited magic, don the Garfon Mask and you could be spinning around endlessly, eiping out everything in sight)
Another day, another dollar... wake me when it's payday.
still playing games
I have these Zelda games:
NES- both
SNES
Gameboy/Color all 3 (DX and Ages/Sesons)
I REALLY liked the 1st Zelda back when it came out. Since then, I havn't really cared for them too much. And I have NEVER finished any of them, even the 1st one. I just don't have the patience.
I have never played the CD-i ones. But I have tried both N64 ones, which uniformly suck, IMO. (3D sucks 99% of the time anyway, to me). So yeah, overall: Zelda was cool, but I really don't care about any new ones coming out.
Almost forgot: Game and Watch Zelda is cool too. But again, I have never gotten anywhere near beating it. (It is also the only G&W I own.)

I really should get a copy of Zelda 3 sometime myself now.

How did I almost miss this topic!!!!
I never actually finished Oracle of Ages. I've beaten all of the other ones and I'm half way through this one (after having first beat Oracle of Seasons) but if I'm not traveling I'm not playing Game Boy, and lately I've been playing Game Boy Advance and Castlevania.
Dammit I'm gonna go back and finish this one. And I call myself a Zelda fan...

How are Ages and Seasons anyhow? i played them both briefly once emulated and really never thought much after.
What's the rarities of all the Nintendo Zelda titles?
My Gaming Collection (Now at Google Drive!)
Good. They are both completely different games each with their own little distinctions (in Ages, you can swim underwater for example). Plus things in each game change depending on which order you play them in.. (Ages first, Seasons second, or vice-versa)Originally Posted by Kaine23
Overall.. worthwhile playing for any Zelda fan
I agree with NE146.
At first I was sceptical since they were developed by Capcom. But they've definitely been made in the classic 2D Zelda mold (similar to Link's previous Game Boy Adventure). Some of the dungeon gadgets are definite Capcom creations but they still work. My only other comment would be that Seasons is a bit easier than Ages.
