I'd like to help you, but I'm not exactly sure what you mean.

There were Commodore Users Groups all over the country. I was a member of at least two in Oklahoma City, so I'm sure there were hundreds if not thousands of them across the country. The two I frequented disbanded in the late 80's.

C64.com, C64.org, and Lemon64.com have lots of information and great forums -- you might be able to find some more information there.
