What is the hoo haa with MK1+ they arent fucking violent at all
I was just playing it now so see the occasional splash of blood or something i mean hell doom was more violent and they pick on MK! i mean what is the problem.. PoP IS MORE FREAKING VIOLENT AND ITS A 12/13+ OMFG

1, every time you punch someone, they bleed. That's hardly occasionally.
2, I don't think the classic PoP was more violent.
3, I'm sure Doom WAS protested when it came out, just like MK1.

I think Enigma is a younger guy so he might have not been around when it orginally came out.
Enigma, you have to keep in mind that compared to the games of the time, MK1 _was_ violent -- people hadn't seen stuff like fatalities before. Also, the fact that it was "real" (digitized) people in it cause a lot of asshats to get their panties in a bunch. Kinda the same thing with Night Trap -- pretty tame, but since it was real people (albeit thru grainy-ass FMV) people were shocked.

Calm down nigma. When I viewed this game in arcade I was 8 years old and it was the Most violent thing I had ever seen. But thats what the game was there for it was maketed as a gory game, not some great fighting engin or a revolutionary game, just gore and plenty of it. But now the gore just looks bad compared to games like doom3 and Manhunt I'm shure you along with everyone else has been desenced to the weaker horrors of olde.

if any1 has seen the corpse on Age of empires 2 i think its more gory than mk now
And on the MKDA mk history video it looks more gory but maybe its because its teh NTSC version
