Now, lets see that X-Box emulate a Saturn...
Yeah, exactly. Generally, a system has to be a few generations after the system it is emulating in order to emulate it with any acceptable level of accuracy.

The Dreamcast, however, was one of the greatest systems to ever exist. Shit it is not. A tragedy, yes, but not shit.

I agree with enigma saying the dreamcast is not powerful enough to emulate but want to throw him into a boiling volcano for calling sega shit. Just because the DC can pump out nice graphics doesn't mean it's going to beat ass when it emulates another system. It requires a ton of resources. It's not a computer.

Dreamcast, through Bleem!, emulated Playstation! What makes you think Xbox couldn't emulate Saturn? Lack of interest? Probably. Xbox is Dreamcast Cubed so go PS2 on yourself.

Till there's a good Saturn emulator that's open sourced it's kind of a mute point to talk about right now.

A 500mhz Windows 98SE box that would've cost you how many digits back in 2001? That machine was under three years old at the time (maybe just one year; I do know the first 500 MHz system was a PowerPC Mac in '98), and a decent example with a good video card would've still cost you three figures - easily over $400. How much did a Dreamcast cost? Not nearly that.

What's more, you're comparing a computer - in 1998, they were still making them built more or less for general purpose computing - to a machine which indeed can run Metal Slug, just NOT an emulated version. For all I know, you ran a broken (unencrypted) version of Metal Slug on that '98 box and are angry that the DC didn't get the same x_X

    What a bunch of garbage.
