It's worth noting that the above named site doesn't really cover much for PC translations.

If you go up a couple of directorys you should be able to find what you want. Saturn translations are going to be slim pickings since Saturn emulators don't work that well and all the work on the ones I know about has been terminated.
Sorry Ryan, but your girlfriend is in another school.

I highly doubt anyone will work on the Slayers since those games aren't that good to begin with. There's only one complete Saturn translation and a partial patch for Langrisser 3.Originally Posted by EnemyZero
If it exists (console wise anyway) they have it. Obviously there aren't very many Saturn translations. Unless you want script print outs instead of patches.Originally Posted by EnemyZero
I found a good place - vgstrategies.about.com - they have everything - even though they don't have many game translations, they due have manual translations which do help too.
Well you would think that with the Saturn being most people's #1 choice for import games that every game ever made for it would be translated by now, but I guess I'll never know what all those kanji mean. I need translations too. I play on the console itself, the way that it was meant to be, and I would be quite happy to just have translations of the manuals and all the in-game text.
Unless there's a good emulator already most people won't work on translations for a system for various reasons. Saturn emulators have just started to surface in the past year or so and still don't play a good majority of the games at a playable speed.
That isn't always true. The Tales of Phantasia translation for the snes was pretty much done before the game was emulated.
<Evan_G> i keep my games in an inaccessable crate where i can't play them
Well assuming that's true examples like that are few and far between.
Sakura Taisen?
Tritium (aka Mel)

Well what's up with only translating games that can be played on emulators? As long as most of these games have been available, they could've had them all translated by now, and made it that much easier to release a translation! So we spent this many years just waiting for the emulators to surface, and now we're gonna have to spend this many more years just waiting for the translations to surface, if they ever do. We needed translations years ago!
I think you can get translated scripts of most of the Sakura Wars games somewhere online. I don't know of any active projects right now to actually insert them into the CDs. There's only been about 5 or so Saturn projects and none of them have gotten very far. There's only one complete Saturn translation for some crappy action game that I don't remember the name of. All that was involved was translating a very small text file from what I've heard.
Well there's already a shortage of peole that can translate as it is. Most of them don't want to waste there time if someone else can't insert it into the game. Having to burn a CDR everytime you want to test a little change gets to be very costly not to mention time consuming. Also most of the 16 bit titles and later will have some kind of compression and with out a good emulator with a trace debugger they won't even be able to dump the script much less ever get to the point where it can be translated. There's other reasons as well but just to kind of give a rough idea of why they need the emulators to do translations.
Ah, so nobody actually plays the games to do all the translating then, that's why I was confused. I should've known they wouldn't bother to play them! But it still makes me wonder why somebody doesn't just play them to do it. At least they could have some fun while they're doing it to make it worth it!
