Hydro Thunder.
My Gaming Collection (Now at Google Drive!)
Well, the one I had the most fun with.... Close one...
S.T.U.N. Runner
Virtua Racing
Cruisin USA
Hard Drivin'
Out of those four, if I got to choose one to put in my living room.... Probably Virtua Racing.
Cruisin USA got boring pretty quick,
Hard Drivin just doesn't have the graphics to stand up nowadays.
STUN Runner is a VERY VERY Close second, I think those 2 are probly tied, but Most Virtua Racers are 2-player, which puts it over STUN Runner.
Rend, slaughter, devour your enemies. There is no other way to survive. You cannot escape your hunger, Warriors of Purgatory

Outrun and S.T.U.N.N. Runner for me.. had to decide
Fear your thoughts because they become your words
Fear your words because they become your actions
Fear your actions because they become your habits
Fear your habits because they become your character
Fear your character because it becomes your destiny
Therefore: Thinking and nurturing positive thoughts, at any point in your life, can change your destiny.
Craaaaaa-zy Taxi
Certainly I've played many home racers that are better than any arcade racer, though.
Cruisin USA is fun there are not many bad ones go out and try some.
yep, crazy taxy is my favorite.Originally Posted by kevincure

sf rush is my favorite too.
Outrun, Super Sprint, and Daytona USA
Pole Position II
Turbo
Super Sprint
18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker
Outrun
Motorace USA
those are what I can think of at least..right now...
Can't believe I'm the first one to mention a Pole Position game...

Hard Drivin'!
I'd buy one of the machiens if I had the room for it. I wonder if they ever got it to work in MAME yet!
Pole Position (old-style)
Daytona USA (new-style)
TROY'S GAMING HISTORY
1977- Atari 2600 (primitive)
1985- Commodore=128 (8-bit)
1989- Amiga 500 (16-bit)
1991- zzzzzzzzzzz :scatter:
2002- Playstation 2 (128-bit)
The best by far is the pod racer with the controls like in the movie it is so much fun if i could only find someone selling one.
I'm with Sylentwulf on this one... For me it's a toss up between S.T.U.N.N Runner, or Hard Drivin'... Although Hard Drivin' taught me how to drive a stick, so not only was it fun, it was educational!
For me, it's Daytona USA (which I prefer to Daytona 2), followed by the Cruisin' series (what'd you expect from a Jarvis fan? ).
Ha! I remember that! This was the biggest reason I learned to drive easily. They should install these in drivers ed classes just so everyone knows how to learn stick shift!Originally Posted by asharru

Sanfransico Rush: Alcatraz Edition. Noramlly I don't play racing games but this one sucked me in. I can remember when we unlocked that board that was nothing but 90 degree turns. That was a riot!
