Default Neo Geo MVS 4 - Slot Marquee Light Problem

my marquee light is slightly broken (its been that way since purchase, i just never got around to doing anything about it)....slot 1 does not light up at all, slot 2 is so faint that i wouldn't even say it was on, slot 3 works fine and slot 4 works fine.

before i went ahead and took stuff apart, i wanted to know if anyone ever heard of this problem and if they knew of some possible fixes. i know it doesnt use any type of light bulbs, so something else would have to be done to fix it. could a wire be loose some where... any ideas before i go trying to fix it would be helpful.

    thanks

    I'd say Yes....

And,..I paid only $375.00 for my Big Red.(pick Up)..

    ........................................

But, it's a last hope option...and the old bulbs can no longer be found..
The going rate for 1 working old bulb is $25.00 a Piece..That's $100.00 and if they ever pop up on Ebay they usually run over $125.00 if somehow it's for sure that theyy work.
Even sets that are listed working with no proof I see go over $80.00

Two of the lights were out in my Big Red when I got it.
I've spent probably over 2-3 hundred dollars buying sets of these when they showed up on EBay....... often.
Most of the time the bulbs were bad.
I did fix some by finding small burn spots on them that I(hard as hell to do)could resolder.
That's say..a 1 to 10 chance that a burn spot will be found.

I was tranplanting good/fixed bulbs to the green PCBs and selling them.
As full working sets.($25.00 a Piece)

I got lucky with the 4 in my Big Red..I found a set listed on Ebay listed Fully working.($100.00)
I asked the seller if he tested them and he said No..(no way to)
He cancelled the auction and then..emailed me offering the set to me for $15.00 shipped...(pretty much free)
I jumped on it..when they got here one bulb had never been soldered at the part that connects to the PCB..from the company.
The other 3 bulbs worked and when I soldered the 4 th all 4 work now.
    Sweet!!..and I got Lucky.
That's what's in my Big Red now..though I leave them unplugged from the driver board.
They are two expensive to leave on..I jusyt plug them in when company is over or if I'm asked about them.

I was IMO the only person messing with these bulbs because most of the time they are shot...
I had a lot or requests for bulbs and sold several sets.
But I can't find them anymore..
The last two spare bulbs I have are going in the Neo Gold Machine.

The Being Seen guy has basically been the last resort..
The stuff he sold was much more expensive to buy until a member I know(in that thread) asked him about making them.
So it came out to $70.00 ...if the company actually makes them..
The demand really isn't high enough IMO..but it'll be worth it if he does.

    Oh..Yea..

    IMO..
I don't think that company is in any rush to make these bulbs..though it's only going to be the bulbs..to be fitted as a kit in the existing PCB.

I don't think the demand was as much as they were looking for..
The thread they made only got a few replies...and is it worth it to make a mold or whater has to be done for this.

When I first got my cab I was dead set on fixing the bulbs/getting some..
It took me some time before I did though.

And it made the cab complete.....In my head it was complete..

I'd buy a set of them from that guy..put them on a secondary PCB set and use them all the time.

If this company does make them
