My girlfriend needs a Sega Genesis + Sega CD

Model numbers for either don't matter, as long as they work together, and the Sega CD isn't broken or anything. Hookups are needed, too. She also needs a controller, but I'm willing to skip that and get a nice new one on eBay.

I don't need the box and stuff, just a Genesis that works. And the Sega CD. Seeing as how a working Genesis is like $10 at a good thrift, and I'd rather not have to pay shipping from two separate people if possible, I'll pass. But thanks anyway!

i have a Genny & CD. Only problem is that the Genny power cord has been spliced with the SCD cord (one power source, two inputs). It works fine but i dont know how safe it is x.x

I have a Sege Genesis and Sega cd, it's the Sega Cd that is attatched to the side of the Genesis unit. I also have a few games for it. Nothing spectacular though and 2 AC adapters I picked up at Funco that power each unit.
