If you want the LE, you may as well put the preorder down at whatever store, just "incase". You don't want to chance it otherwise I suppose.

Preorder's probably the way to go, and what I did, for this since I'm not counting many places are gonna be ordering extras. Of course, by preordering I only mean I put the $5 down to "hold" it, rather than paying the $120 CAD or so, since this thing may never even come out for all I know.
I preordered mine.
The problem is not just getting this Deluxe thing (which is only a garantee if preordered), but when in blue hell its going to be released.
I know that at CGE when talking to Maxlords about WD stuff (my nemesis) that he said that the voices were called back into the studio to redo alot of the dialogue, cause someone wasnt happy with how it turned out. That was mid August, when the thing was suppose to be released at the beginning of September. WD hasnt updated their site since July. This will be out 3 weeks before the PS2 is replaced by the PS3 the rate that WD is currently going.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

I pre-ordered the deluxe version two weeks ago, the scheduled release is September 28th.
I know it is insane to spend $90 for a game nowadays, in particular if you're a cheapskate like me. On the other hand, Growlanser generations is something special, and well, I can always wear the watch together with the Lucias Pendant.
i pay for it completely at ebgame for $124.XX CND(store credit>they give me$100 for my broken ps2...it was somekind of trade in for broken systems) since june and this thing just keep getting pushback.. maybe i should get my $$ back and pick up-NOCTURNE- instead....i totally forgot about the GL genpak until i saw this post..

AND suprise suprise, it got pushed back AGAIN, this time until October 19th/20th. Honestly, I can't say I mind since there are several other killer titles coming out too.
I'd be VERY suprised if they managed to get another license after yet another ridiculous perpetual-pushback.
Yep, I can confirm the delayed release (October 20th). I was at my local Gamestop today and picked up Gradius V, and let the guy check the scheduled September 28th date.I've had mine preordered since February when it still had a march release

Well, it doesn't surprise me. delayed releases became a good WD tradition. They are in the footsteps of Rare.

Just as well it got pushed back. Between Phantom Brave, Star Ocean, and Katamari Damacy, I'm not only tapped on funds this month, but also spare time.
