Check this out. Name aside, it looks decent, it may do well or be a N Gage, who knows, I look forward to more magazine coverage.
Thoughts anyone?

If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?
Check out my list of trades on GameTZ Link
It's dead in the water. They really might as well pull the site now.

Is it just me, or are the pictures from the games they're showing all failing to actually show you what the game looks like? Are they trying to hide the fact that it's a piece of crap and that Gameboy Advance would kill it or something?
That thing was the biggest joke at E3 this past year. They had a huge booth and attractive ladies handing out little brochures on it, but most of those brochures either ended up on the floor or in the trash can. I noticed that someone was clever and placed them in odd places around the show.
None of the software looked appealing, and if the N-Gage is any indication as to how a new handheld from an unproven company will fare, they might as well thrown in the towel already.
People have been talking about this thing for the last 9 months or so.
And they just now picked the Geforce 3D 4500 as a processor.
Looks like this will come out by 2006 and I'm sure it will be so much better than the PSP, Nintendo Ds, GBA 2, Tapwave Zodiac 3 , Gp32, GP64, N-Gage 3 , etc, etc.
Yikes , It's going to be expensive to keep up with all these handhelds.
the booth at e3 was a pretty big laugh, as Oob said. when i happened to wonder in, they had break dancers on the stage... for what reason? i'm not sure. anyway, i signed up for their mailing list (of which i've received nothing), to get a Gizmondo T-shirt. i wear it a lot.... nobody knows what the hell the logo is, and nobody ever will. i like it. hah

It looks like crap, but if anyone wants to send me one, I'll reverse engineer it, heh.
I too noticed how they didn't seem to actually show any in game screen shots. Remember the Game.com? This is actually from the same company...Tiger! Now you know it's dead in the water.
How Tiger stays in business is anyone's guess.
Actually, it's a different company from the Game.com/shitty LCD knockoffs Tiger. Tiger Telemetrics , the company behind Gizmondo, has no relation to that Tiger (who I believe are now a division of Hasbro).Originally Posted by Brian_Provinciano
Good catch! Jeez, I'd forgotten that THIS was the company that fuss was all about. So this is the one with GPS? Hmm...looking at the picture again and remembering the funky ESP card style buttons, YES, I think that's the one!
The choosing of an off-the-shelf GeForce card is especially strange, in that it appears Tiger has lost the touch for specially made products (or perhaps nVidia just doesn't have the time for them). Surely each system will incorporate the basic nVidia chipset in a reengineered form (you can't just stick an AGP graphics card in the thing, obviously), but I wonder if many features that have no business being in the Gizmondo (support for multiple resolutions comes to mind) will be left in.
Case looks decent enough, but this device will fail, or Tiger is banking on making these the long-term replacement for their classic LCD portables
Uhh not paying atention ED.
This is a different Tiger company not the one who made the game.com
You know, the PS's buttons being labeled Square, Circle, Cross, Triangle is bad enough. What about when you have to tell people how to do something by hitting Circle, Two Squiggly Lines, Nine Dots or Three Straight Lines. WHAT THE HECK? That's why you're supposed to use LETTERS! So people can easily talk about them. At least triangles, squares, circles and crosses are widely recognizable. I'd love to see how they refer to those buttons in the FAQ's.
But what does it matter, this'll never get off the ground.
Ugh, yes I was! I just lost my train of thought, apparently. o_OOriginally Posted by jonjandran

There is a section with prices...I think it's like $419 if I read that correctly. The machine looks very capavble, but so did the 32x.
No doubt, this thing wil BOMB.

The moral is, don't **** with Uncle Tim when he's been drinking!
Damn...on that insert credit link there's a pic of a NGage kiosk display...Ngage blows, but shit, I want an Ngage to TV/monitor thingy!
I've always had a thing for wanting ALL my portables to be TV capable...I like having the option.

Looking at the screenshots for the games, it does look like it has some power behind it. Is this machine open source like the Gp32? If it is then it could very well be a very good emulation machine.
