Has anyone ever seen....
A pair of gameboy play it loud sunglasses? I've been searching for awhile and haven't found any. I have one pair, the ones I got when I was about 9 years old when I got my clear colored (not color) gameboy. It came packaged with it. I would like to find out if they came in different colors (mine are black). Thanks.
Can't say I have. I do have the clear hard plastic case the Play it Loud Game Boys came in though, and I'll tell you what...fucker makes a mean NGPC carrying case.
Wish I still had my case heh. It seems the colored gameboys are a lost piece of history. I NEVER hear about them.
I scored a sweet find back in middle school. Right around the time the GB Pockets were about to come out I managed to snag a Clear fatboy GB with the PIL case, and a couple of games: Castlevania Adventure, Bart goes to Camp (?) and Super Street Fighter 2 for a cool $10. Made my damn day! Then it got better when I traded that GB to a neighbor for a yellow GB Pocket...plus he gave me $5 since he lost the battery cover. Schwing!
Except now the colored gameboys are worth more. At least at my local trade-in store. Like 2 years ago I traded in my battered beaten colored gameboy at a local trade-in store for 40 dollars.
Eh, I don't collect for value, and the Pocket's screen is(/was, still got it, don't play it) far better anyway.
