I found out that there is a Mortal Kombat 3 that was released on the Game Gear, but only in PAL. I have only seen 1 copy ever, and that was on eBay, and it went for over $200. I am not saying there is only 1 copy, I am saying that it is pretty hard to come by, and you guys don't have it in your database

The Game Gear is a portable system. It has its own screen. The rules of NTSC and PAL do not apply, nor do they apply to any other handheld.

Mortal Kombat III was released for the Master System in Brazil... perhaps it was ported to the Game Gear in limited quantities. The SMS and the GG are very similar hardware-wise.

yeah there's no PAL and NTSC but you still have US/Europe/Japan releases, i guess that's what he was trying to say, that it's not an US release....

Like most of the TecToy SMS exclusives, it was the GG version that was ported to the Master System rather than the other way around.
