We just had a thread about a UFO copier, which is (essentially) the same thing. Check it out:

The Pro Fighter X is more like the MGH (Multi Game Hunter), as it can do both SNES and Genesis games, and (from what I've read) Gameboy games as well. As pointed out in the other thread, this machine allows you to A, back up cartridge based games to floppy disk, and B, play them via floppy disk without the cart. Thusly, it also allows you to C, download "teh r0mz" from the internet, stick them on a floppy, and then play them on a real console (SNES or Genesis).
Good find! A dual unit like that (in working condition) is easily worth $100+ (a low estimate).
oh! I have one of those UFO's too. I had no idea it was the same thing, I thought it was an import converter or something.

Rob Webb's site is an excellent info and equipment resource for some pretty rare stuff. Plus, he's a super nice guy that can find you stuff you just can't find anywhere else. Expect to pay the prices these rare items are worth though. Chances are, no one else is selling some of them. :-)

The moral is, don't **** with Uncle Tim when he's been drinking!
So, I'm guessing that I can't sell this on eBay then?

You can try, but it'll be pulled if it gets spotted. If you want to try, the best bet is a 3-day listing with a BIN, but that may mean you won't get the best price for it.Originally Posted by THXII38
many thanks to oobgarm for that link, its made my day!
i've had a GD SF-7 (upgrade) for years, its one of those items i assumed to be broken since i found it in a junk heap. the problem was that i could never find more than vauge notes about the device, nothing to get me in a position to test and run the thing. that website you linked has the manual scanned for my model, what more could i ask for?
well so far so good! i've got it loaded into my SFC and have finally started to make sense of the menu, disk formatted...moving on. i appears to be in perfect working order, i was really thrilled to see the disk drive light up and spin into action. i'll probably be posting other notes and questions on this thing, feels like i've found a new world for my SFC.
thanks again!
