there was also a hint book for maniac mansion.

you can't read what the hints were without a decoder, which was basically a plastic red strip you placed over the hints to read them.

ultima warriors of destiny had a hint book as well. ultima quest of the avatar probably had one too.

Dragon Warrior IV strategy guide was a separate item. Dragon Warrior II has had a separate hint book that could be purchased.

I'm all for mentioning special inserts needed to make games complete like maps, charts, etc. But I think we should draw the line at stuff packed in with the game. ie: Shadowgate's hintbook isn't on Sniper's list, nor does it need to be. I would add F117 (theatre of operations chart) and Tecmo Super Bowl (Quick reference) to Sniper's list. And I would take out Faria and GI Joe, as those maps were mail order only. Other than that, Sniper's list looks complete.

I could post my complete list of major variants, if necessary.

No, they doesn't contains information necessary for the game.

I just update the insert list, please make the correction if needs.

    Those with "?" are questionable.

California Raisins need to move to the prototype section (a cleanup is probably need in the proto/rumor mill section as well).

Linus Spacehead's Cosmic Crusade is listed as an R1 and its at least an R7 and probably worth some decent cash too. This one's been like this for too long and it needs to be changed for the next update!!!

An R4 definitely and maybe even an R5, but definitely not an R7. An R7 put's it in the hardest 25% of games cross platform, which it definitely is not. There are still loads of new copies floating around that sell in the $15-20 range and loose carts tend to sell in the $5-8 range. A complete one on eBay a couple of weeks ago didn't even get the $4.99 starting bid.

I have to agree with Mike here, Camerica are more easier to find and R5 is good (maybe R6 could be good too).

A note about Action 52, seem "easier" to find in Canada, alot of members of the CGCC (including myself) was able to find it easily.

How about Titus's Blues Brothers ? Only Titus title ever on the NES, could it be upgrade to an R6

not to many as long as we got the mentioned stuff. Hay Sniper or Mikeetler did you get those easter eggs for the Zelda games? We need to update the canadian games, I will soon get a list of Euro australian and asian releases, I just need to clean it up a bit first.

I know that most of the Tengen games were unlicensed, but a very few of them (in the first year or so) were officially licensed. I know of Gauntlet and Pac-Man at the least; which others (if any) were there?

Also, Formula 1: Built to Win is listed as having been released by Sega. There's no way in hell that's true -- is it?
Active systems owned: Wii, X360, PS3
Inactive systems owned: RCA, INTV2, NES, SMS, Genesis, Lynx, SNES, Saturn, PS1, GBC, DC, PS2, GBA, Xbox, GC, PSP, DS
Systems wanted: Coleco, 7800, TG16, GG, 3DS, Vita, WiiU

RBI Baseball was the third and only other licenesed Tengen release.

That should be Seta, not Sega. I'm sure whoever is responsible for the NES section will get on that one right away.

The color Dreams, AGC inc, and AVE releases seem to have slightly increased in value. I see most of the cheapies go for about 10 dollars now instead of the usual listing of 5$ that maybe something that should be looked at, the descriptions of the Color Dreams releases should include the rarities of the black cart versions, these should be listed the way that the neo geo mvs games are listed within the descriptions.
