Default Strange Action Max Videocassette Find

I know this "console" isn't listed anywhere on this site, but I just had to ask............

I found a sealed Action Max Blue Thunder tonight while out browsing a few of my haunts I go to. I have never seen this videocassette anywhere, as I am accustomed to the usual 1 or 2 you always see. I have a feeling that maybe this was THE last videocassette ever released.....?????

    Anyone else ever find this?

    Thanks

    Bill S.

I believe it was the last game released, but I don't think it is very rare. I had one that I just got rid of.

    Hmm.......

It was just one of those things that pop up that you never see "in the wild". I wonder how many of those actually sold? I count 2 so far.

Now comes the question if it's actually worth unsealing to bust out the Action Max..........

    Thanks, man.

I've seen sealed ones go in the $5-10 range. It's definitely a lot harder to find then the other four tapes, but the demand is virtually non-existant.

So I imagine I'm the only one who wants to see the whole Action Max collection re-released on DVD? Yeah, I thought so I wonder if the system would still work right...

As I was telling Vintagegamecrazy here when he so quickly let his Action Max go in a trade a few weeks back: you haven't LIVED until you play Pops Ghostley. You can shoot at the TV! And there are Ghosts! And someone named Pops! And the PICTURES on the back of the packaging are EXACTLY what you'll see when you play the game! It's one of gaming's great unknown, unplayed GEMS!

Well, I DID bust out the Action Max this afternoon. I'm glad I tested Pops Ghostly before unsealing Blue Thunder. Turns out, my Action Max doesn't even work anymore! :/

Yet another thing on my mental list of things to find. Yet again.

    Ah well............

    Bill

I actually did notice that Action Max is listed on the site. Guess I should pay more attention...........

Pops Ghostley.... Since you recommend it maybe I'll finally hook up my Action Max and try it out. Hope it works.
