If you look in the feedback...the guy really paid 1K !
Oh eBay! you are such a pain, I am addicted to you like crack cocaine. You offer things I cannot find in stores,You are the pimp, and we are all your whores.
$17.95 for shipping?!?
yeah it says it's insured overnight mail.
I love the way the issue refers to Howard Phillips as a "professional video gamesman." Why didn't that phrase ever catch on?
And on a related note, why doesn't anyone ever sell the first issue of GameFan?
$1,025Who the hell has that kind of cash to be spending on a Nintendo newsletter?!?!?!?!?!?!That is crazy! x_x
That's how I store all my valuables! It has been stored in a book for over 10 years now so it still is in really great condition.
Kier- I'd like to see the book you used to store a mint '69 Corvette or Harley.
Another day, another dollar... wake me when it's payday.
still playing games
This is the last day for it. Doesn't seem to be going for as much this time lol
I'll bet the guy who paid $1k is kicking himself as he watches this auction
Fear your thoughts because they become your words
Fear your words because they become your actions
Fear your actions because they become your habits
Fear your habits because they become your character
Fear your character because it becomes your destiny
Therefore: Thinking and nurturing positive thoughts, at any point in your life, can change your destiny.
The second one went for $153.50 .... bought by the same guy who paid $1000+ for the first one.
These auctions show how unreliable Ebay is for estimating value. 2 people without the patience or foresight to wait for another copy to come along can drive prices up to absurd levels. Nintendo Fun Club # 1 is rare, but not $1000 rare.
