    White Brazilian Megadrive with built in games, also SMS with built in games and apparently officilly licenced?

    They're not all that rare. Several incarnations of the SMS have been released in Brazil by TecToy with built-in games.

    no where on the console, does it say "Sega" so these are "Mega-Clones" so to speak
    These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!

    The article says...
    On turning the units on you get the familiar shiny Sega logo, then a licenced by TecToy screen then a classy custom menu in an A-Z format with screen shots from the games and music, this is very useful if you want to see what the games are without running them all. The systems can also take the original carts, if there is a cart present they will boot that rather than the menu.
    I'm no expert on the Brazilian Tec Toys but perhaps these are legit.

    No matter, I like that Super Mege Drive 3!

    Kinda spendy though at £ 89.99!

    Indeedy. These are all licensed releases - TecToy have released something like 8-10 different models of the SMS, of which most have built-in games. There's something like 4-5 models of MD aswell, though only a couple have built-in games.

    those sega tec toy systems are awesome, too expensive for me tho

    i have the famiclone from there that takes fami carts, havent tried it yet..
