Default Will Gamecube Resident Evils become Players Choice titles?

Due to popularity of Resident Evil lately some of the Gamecube titles have become harder to find OR over-priced, was just wondering if Nintendo has any plans to release the Resident Evil titles as Players Choice titles at a lower price (a box set at a fair priice might be good to) seems like a good idea just BEFORE releasing the new Resident Evil 4!

I highly doubt it. The first RE is Players Choice, and I'm not sure if Zero is available as a Players Choice title, but it does seem to be abundant and cheap. As for the hard to find titles (2, 3, and to a lesser extent Code Veronica X), Capcom had a hard enough time selling them when they first came out, so why bother re-releasing them again? Remember, these games languished on shelves for a long time - now that people are aware that sales were low and the games may be rare, now the demand goes up. In fact, locally, I have no problem finding used copies of RE 2 (still looking for a sealed one though!) and I've seen a few sealed RE 3's laying around, too. Code Veronica X seems to be far more common than either of those.

I say nothing changes before the release of RE 4.

Around here they have so much overstock of Res Evil games that they have nowhere to put them.

It amazes me that one of the top franchises on PSX was abandoned by self-proclaimed "hardcore" gamers as soon as it became GameCube exclusive. If I had a nickel for every "dude" who would walk into my shop and say "oh man, I'm a HARDCORE Resident Evil fan BIG-TIME!!", I wouldn't have to work another day in my life.

Once the Cube came out, I used to take great delight in asking these "hardcore fans" why they aren't playing the incredible Res Evil games on the GameCube. They're so much better that you'd figure that any hardcore fan would give his left nut to get a Cube and play them. Not the case though.

maybe this means it is time for me to go to my local game store and see if they sell these games so i can make some money.

the only problem is that my local gamestore also has an eBay account, so anything that is rare for next gens is usually never in stock.

i actually talked to a manager about this, and he said that corporate is getting better at allowing its omaha base to get first dibs at the games before they get Bayed, but they still do it like crazy and it is annoying (plus they have super stupid high reserves and, even though i live in the same city and know where all the stores are located, they do not allow for in store pickup of eBayed games).

hehe, no more rambling for me. but yeah, i think i am going to have to get these 2 games now

Only Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil for GameCube are Players choice, no way that 2 and Nemesis will be
