.....
i was wondering about that auction myself, the picture looks stretched on the label like a cut and paste job, i think its fake too.
BLAST AWAY AND GO GO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Serial # is apparently sns-1n-usa. I know some people have lists of the serial numbers. I can't find it anywhere.

Fake, fake, fake, this is the 4th or 5th one i have seen in as many years, the label is just a cheap sticker, the image is stretched (like someone mentioned) there's no company name, the super nintendo logo (bottom right) is outta shape.
For an uncommon item, it would be good, for someone's snes collection, but i wouldn't pay more than $5 for it..
I could be wrong but i'm sure the seller knows it's a pirate, he says, it's rare i havn't seen another on ebay. So i'll bang it on ebay, with a start price of $99 and a buy it now of only $350.. cheeeeeeeeap!
Ok i have $350 to blow, do i go for the Starfox weekend cart, (currently on ebay) or do i buy, a cheap ass hong kong style pirate! mmmmm! lemmy think! :/
I think he's just chancin his luck to see if some shmuk might B-I-N
..XS
It is probably a home made conversion from a SFC cart - with a badly made label.. you can see that the label is not glossy at all.
I sent a question:
"If this is an official cartridge, why is the image stretched? Also, why doesn't anybody have this game in their lists?"
*Cue Jepoardy music*
Got an email response:
Sounds like he's pretty full of himself.I picked this up at a fleamarket. I could not find any info about it, so
it must be rare. If you have any problems with it, do not bid. Not all
games are listed. I once owned the official and only known Mother
(original Earthbound) prototype and it was at that time not on any list.
Yes, I am the Kenny Brooks that did that.
Thanks
Kenny
Sorry Kenny, I never knew you...and if you act like this, I hope I never will x_x
Defnitely buyer beware on that one. I don't see how it could possibly be legit.
Wasn't there a ton of drama over getting that Earthbound US prototype dumped because of the person who bought it?
Also, the game *was* on everyone's lists-the game was announced in Nintendo Power in the summer of 1990.
consider him reported.
I've seen this pirate a few times before. Back in 2001, some guy was selling tons of them. I have some pics of them here:

I actually have a really good high quality scan of this particular one somewhere on a backup cd...
<Evan_G> i keep my games in an inaccessable crate where i can't play them
Wait, THE Kenny Brooks?
As others have already stated, the art work looks very stretched out and fake.
That's what he told me.
He's got a very nice collection of old PC games - gold box AD&D, I think I see The Crescent Hawk's Inception, lots of other good oldies - sold seperately, unfortunately!
But yeah, he says he's THE Kenny.
Sad he's wasting his good rep on one lousy pirate.
Not fake, a bootleg one. :P
Those are US$ 5,00 here in Brazil and are "ultra-mega-hyper-common". :P
