    Default EBay 'waiting list'

One of the things I like about Amazon -- and one of the reasons I use it so much -- is that if I see something there I want but none are currently available I can put in a request to be sent a e-mail whenever a item comes up for sale. More then that, I can set in a max price -- and if the item is listed less then that, I'll buy it automaticaly with my CC.

Does EBay have anything like this? It would be great to put some items on a list and just be sent a e-mail when it pops up.

To tell you the truth I don't know if they do or not, but the sniping program I use does. You can put in key words and it updates however often you want with new auctions.

That doesn't sound like a really good idea. End up accidently winning scam auctions or trashed games.

whenever you do a search, ebay gives you the option of adding the search to your "favorites" (on the right side of the screen just below the search field). when you do add a search to your favorites, you are also given the option of having any new listings that match that search emailed to you for up to a year.
the only problem is the fact that i usually receive updates on my favorite searches a day or two before the auction closes. its pretty slow in getting the emails to you.,..
