Default WTB: some oddities for 3DO, Sharp X68000

Alright. Have some wants to fill which are a tid bid difficult to find, if you don't speak/read japanese anyway.

    Looking for:
    Import 3DO:
    1. Yu Yu Hakusho complete
    2. Sailor Moon complete

    Sharp X68000:
    1. X68000 System - preferably the later models (68030 or 68030 HD) with 4MB RAM and 80MB Hard drive.

    2. The New Zealand Story complete

    3. Gradius III Complete

    I know.....but I figured it's worth a shot to ask.

    Thanks
    Fadl

A note on Gradius III: You might have better luck searching for Nemesis '90.

I'd help you out if you could, but I'm having enough trouble as it is getting stuff out of Japan...shipping x68K systems is expensive like you wouldn't believe. $50 by surface shipping for one (only ended up getting half of the system anyhow, because Thomas Lee is a scumbag).

thanks for the input. I know shipping would be crazy. Forgive me if this sounds ignorant, bu who is Thomas Lee? Does he have a site that i should avoid or just a general forum member?

Ah, just some guy who doesn't seem to be doing business anymore. He was reliable for a while, but was definitely boosting his prices by an insane amount. Sold me a non-working, beat up Samurai Spirits for $60, when a new one's worth $20 and stuff. Yeah. Did get a few nice things though.

He used to do business with the email importanime@yahoo.com, but that's neither here nor there.

You might want to check out nfg.2y.net/sales; I've got a number of things I want to get myself from that site, but go ahead, I won't have any money for a while so you might as well have a shot at it.

As for a 4MB x68000 machine, you'd want to ask Neogeoman (again, nfg.2y.net/sales/) about that. SCSI would be easy enough on a later HD model, I'd assume; just get a SCSI disk and plug it in. I haven't had the chance to check out a model that can take a SCSI disc but I'm assuming you could use a standard 5.25" one like that found in an old Proliant. Cheap on eBay. Still, first things first! You'd also want to get the power supply swapped out; that's about a $40-$50 charge if you have him do it. Not bad at all, 'cuz that includes the price of buying the PSU.

I have that YuYu Hakusho game for 3DO
but it's my only import title for the system.
    And i'm not trading it
    Just wondering though:
    What constitutes complete 3DOjp?
Did they come in cardboard boxes like the domestic ones?

3DO JP games come with a spine, in a regular jewelcase. No cardboard box. Look at my list, I have a few left.
