I'm looking to buy a PS2 (regular one) as a gift for X-mas
I saw some GCN and X-B deals such as "free game" "free stuff" ...10% OFF stuff like that
but none for PS2
Do u guys know of any PS2 deals going down now?
Cheap Ass Gamer knows!
In the future, please put a question mark in the subject if you're asking a question. I suspect that most people, myself included, will click on this thread thinking that you have news on hot PS2 deals. Thanks.Originally Posted by Sebastian

I'm thinking about buying a new PS2 this XMAS. I haven't had a PS2 since when it launched. I bought one the day it came out, and I had it about 8 months then sold it, to never buy back again.
Then I got a XBOX and a GameCube, and never concerned myself with the PS2 since.
But with the price drop, and more importantly, the redesign, I think now is the time to get one.
So I've been looking around trying to find the best deal to get one.
TRU has a coupon where you get a $10 gift card if you spend $75 or more. So that is one option. Another option is GameCrazy. Normally, when you buy a console there they give you 12 free game rentals at Hollywood Video. That's always a good deal, because Hollywood Video tends to have a different game selection than Blockbuster, so it's nice to have 12 free rentals there.
I thought I saw some stores have a coupon for 10 percent off anything in the store, maybe it was Circuit City? That wouldn't be too bad a deal, if it worked with the new PS2, cause then you would get $15 off.
Well i went to my wal mart today and they had three racing games for $10.00 i took advantage and bought them
Lemme guess: Corvette, Ford Racing, & Super Truck Monster Racing Rally or something like that...
Bundled together, I bet.

Yep. Scoff all you want, but it's an amazing deal for surprisingly decent games.Originally Posted by RJ
