Finds? Nah I just bought:
Metroid prime 2, Mario Tennis, Metal Gear Solid 3, Donkey Konga, GBA classics Castlevania, Taiko Drum Master, Paper Mario, Gradius V.
Alls for 20% off, w/ no tax. Not too bad for current "hot" games.

Lol, progressive Scan DVD player $17.99 after rebate. I worked at Best Buy, and the last few years they have had the same DVD player promo: the Norcent or the Cyberhome. Want to know why they are $17.99? They have close to a 60% defect rate.
The concept of these things has always boggled me. Who would you give an $18.00 DVD player to for Christmas? If someone gave it to me, I woudl hit them in the heaqd with it. Especially when for about $50-$60.00 you can buy a Toshiba, Philips, or even a Sony on a good day. How is $18.00 a better deal when you have to replace it in 6 months?
Personally, if someone just only wanted to spend about $20.00 on a present, I would rather have a great DVD movie, and buy my own dvd player.
But, I rant....

Haha, a bit sensitive about that purchase eh? Sorry, didn't mean to offend you, was just ranting in general. Yours may have just been an extra DVD for the basement or something, but most of them sold are for gifts (In fact, a lot of the ones returned usually have bits of wrapping paper taped to them). Again, just ranting, no offense intended. But, fyi....you will probably not use it much, then in about 7 months you will decide to play a DVD on it. You will insert the movie, and the unit will make some noise for a while and then say "no disc". Or, it may just not open. The Norcent is BY FAR worse than the Cyberhome for this--if you bought one, take it back.
your thinking is nothing new, so shush already. cheap is cheap my apex 19.99 one is still going 2 years now, but i did buy it to *ahem* fix the bios on it....anyways. enough.Originally Posted by Twitami
My life and perception has changed, but my principals are the same.
I went to GameCrazy for the buy 1 get one free special. I got Gunstar Heroes for the Genesis and Secret of Evermore for the SNES at $15 for both. Not the greatest deal in the world, but not too bad either.
Be excellent to one another. Party on dudes!
ending up swinging by BB to pick up a NEC projector for 600 needless to say I'm very happy with it..and to see san andreas in a 40+ display
Metal Arms A Glitch in the System at C. City(a $9.99 price match from a B. Buy ad). But the cashier wouldn't give the 10% difference. The game had a C. City sticker price of $49.99. It rang up for $19.99. I didn't feel like fighting the cashier to save an extra $1.05.
I got the gamecube bundle at eb:
The Platinum gamecube, 2 controllers mario kart double dash, animal crossing (free game - comes with memory card) all for 99$ - plus a gift certificate for 15$ off a game!
