    Default Mad Maestro Sequel

While in Korea 2 summers ago I saw and played a sequel to this game which was really excellent. New music, better graphics, and Mad Maestro (the conductor) himself occasionally sits at the piano and plays (with you in control) a solo or "concerto" with orchestra. I know there's little to no chance we will ever see this game in the USA, but fans of the game and genre who can should check it out. I think it was called "Bravo Music" (2?) over there. They have a Korean version, adapted from the Japanese original I suppose. Maybe Fresh Games will do a cheapie sequel ($19.99 START price), or even another adventurous company (XS?) might license it. (Please.....!) It would be a shame not to see it here. I almost bought a Japanese or Korean PS2 just to play it. but finally passed. I am going back to Korea in '05 though, and with prices down, may get a new (i.e. "thin") PS2 and the game, maybe for less than $200 USD.

I thought the first game was kind of cool, but I don't see them releasing it over here since the other one sold brick.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

I originally got Mad Maestro for $15 a year ago and played the hell out of it. This year, I was able to find it for $4.98 at a Toys R Us and and giving it as a gift to someone. Too bad games like this don't always get the best publishers to release them :/
    Egbert, I miss you...

Cool. I thought the original was underrated. I'll look into import options on this.

I'm a big fan of this game. It's why I bought my PS2, actually
(I have a degree in classical music, so it makes sense)
The one to get though, if you're a fan of the series is the PS1 Bravo Music.
It came with a baton controller.
I've been searcing for that one to no avail.
Anybody have any leads on where I can get *that* one?

I used to see it all the time in game shops in Japan. Sorry, I no longer live there

You are think of Maestromusic. toysnjoys has it listed for around $80 w/baton. Maestromusic II came out for Japanese PS2. Both series have Christmas Music Editions available

I use the default for Mad Maestro. The problem I have is that I am red green colorblind, so sometimes i can't tell how hard to push.
