Default Insane NES Auction !!! 658 games

Here is a sweet a$$ auction on ebay for 658 different NES games. This lot would give anyone an instant nasty collection. The buy it now is a little steep, but I would think it will break $2,500 because of all the rarities that are in there (Caltron 6 in 1 , Flintstones 2)

    Here ya go

I dunno, I'm kind of skeptical about that 2500 figure. That's a lot of money to shell out for loose carts all at once - I don't buy loose stuff, but I imagine that anyone doing so would probably want a pretty hefty quantity discount for taking that much stuff at once. I'd guess 1350 as a price, but maybe I'm way off.

I say the auction clears $2000. That's a pretty big head start to a complete set, and it is the silly season on eBay.

well maybe I'm out of touch on that too because it's funny how everyone talks about loose prices being high during the holidays - I'm sure it's true, but to me collecting sealed stuff it always sounds so backwards! sealed prices always seem to dip before christmas..

Well... the way I thought about it was , $2,500 is only around 4 dollars a game, and there are some serious rarities in here. There are also a TON of semi rares that would cost around 10-15 each, and are pretty damn hard to find. If condition didn't matter to me, and I didn't already have a decently large collection, I would pay over $2,000 for this one.

    Sure, it's only $4 a game, but it's also $2500 at once.

and yeah, "if" you didn't have a collection already, it'd be a great deal, but who on earth is going to drop $2500 their first time out? Anybody bidding on this will have a collection already and will have to suck up a lot of doubles.

I don't understand why people list like this. It would probably only take about 8 hours or so with turbolister to split this stuff up, and you would probably end up with twice as much money for it in the end.

Am I the only one who doesn't think that 8 hours of my time is worth $2.000???

Well, that's assuming you know how to use turbolister. I don't, for example.

Besides, the listing time is the easy part. The shipping is the real pain.

Amen! I HATE shipping. Period. I would rather lose a bit of money to make less packages to mail.

No, I don't think that 8 hours of your time is worth $2k, either.

J/K, man. I think you worded that wrong.

saw this a few hours before it was posted. alot of rares and great games in this lot, though it would be useless for me to buy it(unless i planned to do some major resale) but it would be great for someone who just started collecting. even if i wanted it, its US only anyways :P

oh, and i dont think the bin is that unreasonable. the time/money you would spend buying them individually or in tiny lots, would cost more in the long run i would think ( especially if you rely heavily on ebay, you have to factor in shipping for EVERY single game/lot you buy)

Yeah true, still very good price only crazy to pay at once.If he listed them one by one he could get more out of it, but i can understand why he put 'm all up at once, i don't see myself doing that with so many games .

jeez, that's alot of typos...and no shipping insurance...and a sorry layout, not to mention pretty weak ass pictures.

if i were trying to make a few thousand bucks, i might use a bit of taste and a spellchecker. plus i would split them up, but just appropriately, sell the rares individually and bulk the commons, in lots of 20 or so. sure, shipping's a pain, but not $2000 pain.
