It's already at a large amount so I'm not ruining a good deal. Hopefully someone from here wins it.

... then maybe some of the proceeds should go toward getting the buyer psychiatric help.If the bidding goes over $700 ...
Right now it is at $270 which is crazy enough. Amazing how much people will pay for such a terrible game. I definately don't miss the days of laying on the floor, pounding on the Power Pad with my fists.
I've decided the most I would ever pay for this game is $200 bucks loose, and only if it's in mint condition. I also don't know how much he thinks Menace Beach is worth if he's offering it only at $700 bucks. If I was selling a Stadium Events loose, the Menace Beach would be in there at $400, except it would be Flintstones instead of Menace Beach.
That's what I was thinking too. He tossed a blue copy of Menace Beach in there (with marker on it none the less) , when bidding reaches $700 !!! That is insane. I have been watching this , and I have no clue how much it is going to go for.
Am I wrong, or was muresan the second highest bidder on the $1800 complete Stadium Events a while back? Maybe that's why.

I have no idea, but he isn't gonna get anywhere near $700 I would think. I would say $450 at the most. If the seller thinks that since a complete one went for $1,850 that his loose one will go for $700 then he is in for a suprise.
Yeah $450 tops, $700 is outta line if you ask me,even if he gives that cart for free.
$500 loose . Wether or not the +1 feedback buyer actually pays remains to be seen.
"And remember ladies: if it ain't tight, it ain't right!"
I know what you mean Morbis. The buyer did pay $60 for a one of the Megamans for SNES, but $60 is a whole lot different that $500 ! It looks like I won't be getting Stadium Events any time soon if this is the current price.
It only will go for more and more, the longer we wait the higher the price (on ebay that is!).
the guy paid. I know who he is and he is a damn serious collector.

Wowee. Almost makes me wanna sell my copy.
Actually, not really. =D
The dude got serious about overpaying, that's for damn sure. I don't think a loose one has EVER gone for that much.Originally Posted by Qixmaster

I know the buyer too, and he is definatley paying for it. I agree he kinda overpaid, but he is into buying rare games, and this one must have been high on his list.
Damn he should have just waited for one with a box if he was planning to spend 500 for a loose copy.
true to that. I would never pay that amount for a loose cart. never.Originally Posted by portnoyd
How serious are you I can't tell, or have you seriously been knocking back a few, loose stadium events has gone over 500 quite a few times. Of course you know it o0nly happens randomly and not when the seller sets a starting bid a 500.Originally Posted by portnoyd
Are you sure? I don't recall a loose copy hitting $500. Complete or boxed copies are another matter, but a loose cart only shows up a few times a year and usually goes in the $300 range. Two years ago, a sealed copy went for 'only' $660, so from my experience this is a precedent.Originally Posted by Chronodriftersx

It appeared wierd that he said that since I thought he in particular followed that game pretty closely. Anyway I don't know how it works but it seems like a collective memory loss where around two years passes and loads of details are forgotten, more new people come and say wow never heard of that and suddenly everything is new even to seasoned members it seems. I may be an owner of a photographic memory of sorts so I've seen usually everything on ebay that is outragiously priced before. Maybe its only not easy to remember yes I've saw a stadium events or two loose crack more than that and I don't even search it that often but I can recall getting links to auctions from around the collectors babble.
look at this thread for example tons of people who are leaping out of their boots at an average priced Panesian game saying wow 400 dollar nes games you say!? http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47717
yes, i am sure port does follow these games pretty closely.Originally Posted by Chronodriftersx
